U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D
The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) was a 24th century Federation Galaxy-class starship operated by Starfleet, and the fifth Federation ship to bear the name Enterprise. During her career, the Enterprise served as the Federation flagship. The Enterprise was destroyed during the Battle of Veridian III in 2371
U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701
The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 was an iconic Constitution-Class Starfleet vessel famously under the command of Captain James T. Kirk for his initial five-year mission (2265-2270) and served for 40 years in the Federation until it was deliberately destroyed above the Genesis planet to keep it out of Klingon hands.
The Klingons applied several class designations to the different types of their Bird-of-Prey design, including the K'vort-class, B'rel-class, and D12-class. The D12-class was retired from service by the 2350s due to faulty plasma coils, which were components of the cloaking systems
One of the most important starships in interstellar history, Enterprise (NX-01) was the culmination of the NX Project. The NX-01 was the first NX-class starship, launched by the United Earth Starfleet in 2151
Issue 5 of Star Trek The Official Starships Collection features one of the most intimidating ships that Starfleet has ever encountered: the Imperial Romulan Warbird. Memorably decloaking in the Neutral Zone ahead of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D at the close of TNG's first season, this D'deridex-class ship posed a significant threat with its six disruptor cannons and two photon torpedo launchers.
U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656
Issue 6 features the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656, Captain Janeway's Intrepid-class ship that steered a path home through the Delta Quadrant and seven seasons of Star Trek: Voyager.
Klingn K'Tinga-class Battlecruiser
The model of the Klingon battlecruiser is based on the Star Trek: The Motion Picture version. Like the Enterprise, the Klingon ship got a major upgrade for its appearance in the first Star Trek movie, with new design work done by Richard Taylor and Andy Probert. This version has much more surface detail than its original series predecessor, but has a simpler, gunmetal paint scheme than the CG version that appeared in Deep Space Nine over 20 years later.
This model is die-cast, hand-painted, and comes with an in-depth magazine featuring product artwork and highlighting the ship's history and design.
U.S.S. Excelsior NCC-2000
The U.S.S. Excelsior made its debut in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and was always intended to be an advanced vessel that made the Enterprise looks old. The ship underwent some changes when it reappeared in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country under Captain Sulu's command and this is the version that the model replicates. As well as the usual profile, the magazine takes a look at the rejected study models that ILM's Bill George built as part of the design process.
U.S.S. Defiant NX-74205
Another of the most popular ships in Star Trek’s history Starfleet’s first true warship, the U.S.S. Defiant. The model in the collection is based on a combination of the VFX teams CG model and the original studio model. Inside your magazine you will find an in-depth profile of the U.S.S. This version of the Borg Sphere is the one that appeared in Star Trek: Voyager. U.S.S. Reliant (Miranda Class)
Miranda-class vessels, such as the U.S.S. Reliant, were used primarily for science or supply assignments rather than extended exploration missions. As such, they were equipped with a host of scientific scanners.
U.S.S. Thunderchild NCC-63549
This fan favorite made its debut in STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT. The Akira class is the first-ever officially licensed model of the incredibly popular little ship. It is taken directly from the CG model made by ILM. The Akira class was named after the cult Japanese anime film, Akira (1988) - Set in the future, this animated cyberpunk film features biker gangs and characters with psychic abilities.
The Jem'hadar Battlecruiser is one of the larger ships that the Jem'hadar used on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and is the equivalent of a Starfleet Galaxy-class vessel. The first version that appeared on screen was a physical model, which was then replaced by two subtly different CG versions, and the die-cast model is based on the last of these.
Cardassian Galor Class
Issue 14 of the collection brings fans the workhorse of the Cardassian fleet – the Galor Class. The Cardassian Galor Class is the most familiar design of Cardassian warship. The die-cast model is based on the Lightwave version that was used on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, but has also been compared to the original physical studio model that made its debut on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
U.S.S. Equinox NCC-72381
The U.S.S. Equinox appeared in Star Trek: Voyager's fifth season finale. It was a smaller ship than the U.S.S. Voyager and had also been stranded in the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker. In the face of impossible odds, her crew had taken some moral shortcuts in an effort to get home. The die-cast model is based on the original Lightwave model that was created for the two-part episode by Foundation Imaging, but has been cleaned up to show the ship in pristine condition. The magazine takes a look at the Nova class and Rick Sternbach's original concept drawings.
Issue 16 of the Official Star Trek Starships Collection is the Ferengi Marauder - the first major alien ship to be built for Star Trek: The Next Generation. The ship was designed by Andy Probert, who was inspired by the shape of a horseshoe crab, and was intended to rival the Galaxy-class U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D.
U.S.S. Dauntless NX-01-A
Issue 17 is the U.S.S. Dauntless - a mysterious ship that the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager encountered thousands of light years from home in the Delta Quadrant. At first glance, the U.S.S. Dauntless was an advanced Starfleet vessel, fitted with a Quantum Slipstream drive, which could bring the crew home in a matter of months. The reality turned out to be rather more sinister...
Bajoran Solar Sailor
Issue 18 of Star Trek The Official Starships Collection is one of the most unusual and beautiful designs ever created for Star Trek - the Bajoran Solar Sailor or also known as the Lightship. This ancient design of ship was designed to ride tachyon streams that enabled it to cross vast distances at great speed. The original model was one of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's first experiments with CG starships and has been carefully reproduced from the original concept drawings.
U.S.S. Stargazer NCC-2893
Issue 19 is the U.S.S. Stargazer, the ship that Picard commanded before the Enterprise-D and a rare example of a Starfleet vessel from the early part of the 24th century. It's also unusual in being one of a handful of Starfleet ships that has four rather than two nacelles and, as the magazine reveals, it started life as a piece of set dressing rather than a fully-fledged design for a starship.
Klingon Vor'cha Class
The Vor'cha was the first Klingon ship that was specifically designed for Star Trek: The Next Generation. It made its debut in the fourth-season episode Reunion, when it was introduced as the Klingon Empire's new flagship. The die-cast model is carefully based on the original studio model, and carries the original TNG paint scheme rather than the more colorful version that was used when the ship appeared on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E
The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E is almost certainly one of the most eagerly awaited models in the series. This Enterprise was created for Star Trek: First Contact and was designed to be a tougher, sleeker and more advanced ship than her predecessor. Every time this Enterprise appeared there were subtle differences and the die-cast model is based on the CG version of the ship that was created for Star Trek: Insurrection.
Krenim Temporal Weapon Ship
Issue 22 of Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection is the Krenim Temporal Weapon Ship. This massive Delta Quadrant ship was effectively a weapons platform that could wipe events from history. It was the 'star' of the Star Trek: Voyager story, The Year of Hell. The model was designed by Rick Sternbach and Steve Burg and built at Foundation Imaging.
Issue 23 is the Nebula Class. This class was a type of Federation starship in use by Starfleet in the 24th century. It used many of the same components as the Galaxy-class but they were arranged in a completely different way. The Nebula-class made its debut in the debris field in 'The Best of Both Worlds', but only the most eagle-eyed of viewers would have seen it. It made its full debut in 'The Wounded', when the design was used for Captain Maxwell's ship. Over the years it has several different pods on the back. The model shows it as it appeared in the closing scenes of Star Trek Generations.
Xindi Insectoid Ship
Issue 24 is the Xindi Insectoid Warship, an unusual, three-pronged design that made its debut in Star Trek: Enterprise's third season. It was one of the most dangerous ships the crew encountered, used a vortex to travel at high warp speeds and didn't have anything we'd recognize as a bridge. The ship was designed by John Eaves, who shares his original concept drawings and reveals he was inspired by crab claws.
U.S.S. Prometheus NX-59650
Issue 25 is the U.S.S. Prometheus, one of the most advanced Starfleet ships ever built. Unlike most Federation vessels it was designed for combat rather than exploration and could split into three parts to inflict maximum damage on its opponents.
Issue 26 introduces a vessel from one of Star Trek's more xenophobic alien races - the Tholians. The compact 22nd-century Tholian Starship had space for just one occupant, but was surprisingly powerful. Its Mirror Universe counterpart was capable of weaving a confining web of energy filaments, memorably witnessed in The Original Series episode 'The Tholian Web'.
Uncloaking off the starboard bow for Issue 27 of Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection is the Romulan Bird-of-Prey. Based on The Original Series design reimagined for the Star Trek: Enterprise story 'Minefield', this warp-capable starship aggressively patrolled the borders of the highly secretive Romulan Empire and easily outclassed Captain Archer's Enterprise NX-01.
Though no match for a Cardassian Galor-class warship, the Maquis raider was effective for sudden strikes on lesser Cardassian fleets and for channeling supplies to Maquis colonies near the borders of Federation space.
This sleek design of Romulan Warbird joined the battle against Praetor Shinzon in the movie Star Trek: Nemesis. Unlike Shinzon's Reman ship, the Scimitar, the Valdore needed to decloak to fire weapons, yet it proved invaluable in saving the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701-E from certain destruction.
Larger than a regular shuttlecraft, the Danube-class Runabout was an essential component of 24th-century Starfleet space stations. Three Runabouts of this type were assigned to the station Deep Space 9 in 2369, the U.S.S. Ganges, U.S.S. Yangtzee Kiang and U.S.S. Rio Grande.
Cardassian Hideki Class
The Hideki class was a relatively small multi-purpose ship utilized by the Cardassian Union in the 24th century. They were primarily patrol ships, but they were also used as attack fighters in the Dominion War.
Vulcan Surak Class
This Surak-class ship is typical of large Vulcan ships of the period, with its outer-ring warp drive. One such ship, the Ti Mur rescued a stricken shuttlepod from the Enterprise NX-01 in the episode 'Breaking the Ice'.
22nd Century Klingon Bird-of-Prey
This small and highly maneuverable warship was first encountered by the Enterprise NX-01 in the second season finale of STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE, when the ship was under the command of the Klingon captain Duras.
Oberth-class U.S.S. Pegasus Starship
The accompanying magazine includes detailed specs of the Starfleet ship, plus the story of the Pegasus's highly classifed involvement in tests of a phasing cloaking device, and the ramifications.
Andorian Battle Cruiser
The first ship of this class, the Kumari, was launched in 2141, under the command of Thy’lek Shran, as a deterrent against military incursions by the Tellarites and Vulcans. Heavily armed, the Andorian battle cruiser was a match for Vulcan D’kyr-class warships.
Starfleet Delta Flyer
The Delta Flyer ship was constructed in the Delta Quadrant by the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 using both Starfleet and Borg technology. First seen in the episode ‘Extreme Risk’, this vehicle was larger than a standard shuttlecraft, with retractable warp nacelles, and more able to handle the Delta Quadrant’s hostile environments.
Romulan technology of the era was superior to that of most races. The drones’ weapons were far in advance of anything that the Andorians or Tellarites possessed, but the drone could only achieve speeds just above warp 5.
U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B
This Excelsior-class starship, the fourth to bear the name Enterprise, was launched from its Federation spacedock in 2293, with Captains James T Kirk and Montgomery Scott and Commander Pavel Chekov in attendance. Far from mission-ready, the Enterprise-B had to respond to a distress call that put it in the path of a Nexus energy ribbon, which led to the loss of the legendary captain of the Enterprise NCC-1701.
The next instalment of the Star Trek Official Starship Collection features a 22nd-century Klingon Raptor, one of the first classes of Klingon ship to be encountered by the Enterprise NX-01.
Based on the IKS Somraw, this well-armed scout ship would normally support a crew of 12.
John Eaves' work on the ship's design is looked at in depth in the magazine along with how the script for the Enterprise episode 'Sleeping Dogs' came together.
U.S.S. Pasteur NCC-58925
One of the last new vessels to appear in Star Trek: The Next Generation, the U.S.S. Pasteur model starship.
The U.S.S. Pasteur was an Olympic-class hospital ship that Beverley Crusher was commanding in Q's alternate future in the series finale, 'All Good Things'.
The accompanying magazine goes into detail over the ship's design and schematics with insights from the series' production staff.
Species 8472 Bioship
One of the most bizarre crafts to encounter a Federation vessel is the Species 8472 bioship.
Composed of the same genetic material as the creatures - dubbed Species 8472 by the Borg - these highly advanced vessels were native to fluidic space, but they were also observed operating in the normal space of the Delta Quadrant.
The magazine looks at the design and development of this unique ship and the aliens introduced in 'Scorpion', the memorable two-part episode of Star Trek: Voyager that bridged the third and fourth seasons.
The 22nd-century ship, the UES Intrepid is from the series STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE.
One of the rarest Starfleet ships ever - the Intrepid does not have a name or a registry on its hull. That's not a mistake - it's the way it appears in the episode 'The Expanse'. Under the command of Captain Ramirez, the Intrepid aided the Enterprise NX-01when it was under attack from a Klingon Bird-of-Prey.

Malon Export Vessel
The Malon Freighter Model Ship is a huge cargo tanker designed to transport and dump toxic waste.
This corroded waste export vessel made its debut in the Star Trek: Voyagerepisode 'Juggernaut'. The crew of the U.S.S. Voyager encountered such a vessel that was at risk of exploding and contaminating an entire sector with its cargo of radioactive waste.

U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C
The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C model ship is the Ambassador-class ship from the early 24th century captained by Rachel Garrett.
The Enterprise-C was designed for exploration and spent much of its operational life charting stellar phenomena, and became famous after she was lost with all hands in 2344 defending the Klingon outpost on Narendra III from a Romulan attack.

Klingon Iks Negh'Var
The IKS Negh'var, a 24th-century Klingon battle cruiser from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
This ship changed almost every time it appeared but this version was sourced from the episode 'The Way of the Warrior'. The Negh'Var was the flagship of the Klingon Imperial Fleet. Commanded by a changeling posing as General Martok, it led the Klingon Empire's invasion of the Cardassian Union.

Armored U.S.S. Voyager
The Armored U.S.S. Voyager gained armor thanks to the intervention of the time-travelling Admiral Janeway and fought the Borg in the 24rd century.
The ECS Fortunate was raided by Nausicaan pirates in 2151. Though ill-equipped to engage in battle, it teamed up with the Enterprise NX-01 for revenenge against the pirates.
USS Enterprise NCC-1701
The next edition of the Star Trek Official Starships Collection features the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 model ship, the vessel that started the whole ball rolling inStar Trek: The Original Series.
Launched in 2245, this Constitution-Class Starfleet vessel was famously under the command of Captain James T. Kirk for his initial five-year mission (2265-2270) and served for 40 years in total until it was deliberately destroyed above the Genesis planet to keep it out of Klingon hands.
The Hirogen Warship was the main transport utility through it's warp-drive when the Seven of Nine and Tuvok were taken captive by the predatory race.
U.S.S. Centaur NCC-42043
The U.S.S. Centaur NCC-42043 saw action in the Dominion War under the command of Captain Charlie Reynolds. First appearing in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode 'A Time to Stand', the Centaur was build at speed by Starfleet following devastating losses during the war's early battles.
Klingon Augment's Ship
The Klingon Augments' Ship, the smallest Klingon starship known to be in operation in the 22nd century, was used to mount a daring raid on the EnterpriseNX-01. The craft was crewed by up to six genetically modified Klingon Augments.
The Steamrunner Class was a Federation starship in service with Starfleet during the late 24th century. It featured a unique saucer design and a separate secondary hull, which is joined at the aft to the ship's nacelles. As defensive war vessels, these ships shielded Starfleet in the Battle of Cardassia, Dominion War, and Battle of Sector 001 against the Borg.
Vulcan D'kyr Type
The Vulcan D’Kyr-Type was the largest and most powerful ship in the Vulcan fleet during the 22nd century. At approximately 600 meters in length, it was most commonly referred to as a combat cruiser and had a standard operating crew of 147.
Saber-class USS Yeager NCC-61947
The Saber Class U.S.S. Yeager NCC-61947 was a compact and well-armed light cruisers were used by the Federation in their battles against the Borg and Dominion in the 24th-century.
Romulan Bird-of-Prey (2260s)
The mid-23rd century Romulan Bird-of-Prey was equipped with both a cloaking device and powerful plasma-based weapon. Smoother than its 22nd-century counterpart, this Bird-of-Prey was colored light grey rather than dark green.
